What it can do:

1. Display all photo albums in your friend’s restricted account
2. Browse photos in each album

What it can’t do:

1. Access your friend’s private photo

This is very nice tool for viewing photos of your friends.  Easy to use and fast!

Here’s the step-by-step procedure:

1. Go to the your friend’s friendster profile, you should see the image below, confirming that profile viewing is limited to his/her friends only.
2. Get the pageOwnerID, this is a series of number found at the end of the URL. For example, in http://profiles.friendster.com/12345678, the pageOwnerID is 12345678.
3. Type the following URL in the address bar of your browser (regardless if it’s Chrome, Firefox or IE).  Make the correct pageOwnerID is reflected at the end. http://www.friendster.com/photos/57928093
4. At this point, you should see album or albums in your friendly friend’s friendster photo, like this:
5. Click the link "Share Album" (similar to the picture above), then specify the email address where you want to receive the photos.
6. After you receive the email from friendster, you can copy the link of the shared photos and open to your favorite browser.  If you are using yahoo, all you need is to simply right-click on the image and select "Copy Image Location".
7. The link to the picture is already in your clipboard.  All you need to do is to paste it ( CTRL+V, using keyboard combination or right-click then paste, using the mouse) into your address bar.
8. You should now reap the fruit of you labor. If you want to enlarge the picture, simply remove the character "m" or "l"  at the url and refresh your browser.

That’s all folks!  You should be responsible for whatever damage this how-to guide may incur you, for example, accidentally format your hard drive… Just kidding!

There are two issues concerning this software:

1. Generation of random number is very slow.  Because the current implementation stores the record in a dataset, it requires a lot of memory.
2. Doesn’t use multi-threading and therefore, it cannot be used exhaustively, to brute-force and try all the combinations  of a 9-digit random numbers (387,420,489).

The screenshot below shows the user interface of the software. Buttons and textboxes are self-explanatory.  First, one must have prior information about the url of the photos you are interested in.  It doesn’t matter whether it is visible to the public, for friends only, or private photos.  Then, 9-digit random numbers are generated whose count can be defined beforehand. What happens here is that when a button GO is pressed, the software will check the URL if it exists or not.  If the photo does not exists, the record is deleted from the datagridview and try the next one until all the generated entries are completed.

The screenshot below shows the resulting output when a valid link (meaning the picture ) exists.  Again, this is made out of curiosity only.  There’s no intention of making this piece of sofware public… but if you insist, post your request in the comment section and I will send it to you but there’s no way I can be responsible for damage it might incur.  I developed this software for educational purpose only. So,use at your own risk!

Note: The software is not optimized for speed because i’m only using dataset to store the numbers and did not flush the 9-digit generated random numbers into a file to free the increasing memory usage.  It might freeze your computer if you attempt to generate more than 10,000 combinations.
